Bergdala Spinnhus

This is not a real yarn - it is a narrow band of PVC plastic, coated with reflecting material on both sides. The band is 0,37 mm wide, and thinner than a paper.
It is strong enough to work with - I have used it both for warp and weft. I have also used it for embroidery.
According to the manufacturer it can take "one dot" (150 ° C) on the iron. I recommend testing on a hidden corner - not all irons keep the correct temperatures... If it gets too hot it shrinks, but it will still reflect light.

I sell it for SEK 2 per meter. (For the coat below I used less than 8 meters total - it has reflecting yarn on the front, too.)

To the left a piece of scanned fabric. To the right is Oberon, in a coat of the same fabric, photographed (with flash) from a distance of 6 meters. The fabric had reflecting yarn in the warp with and average distance of 7,5 cm (3 ").

 

Embroidered on black the cat can be seen without flash. The cat is sewn with chain stitch.
